In 1999, the management of High Tower Hydraulics Limited decided to chart a revised course for the company as it approached the new millennium. The direction that the company decided to take was one that focused on the needs of the Utility Industry. This meant that the company had to refocus the attention of its service department and product lines. The direction taken led to the affiliation of High Tower and Terex Telelect, one of the oldest and most respected utility equipment manufacturers in the world. This relationship has so far led to the following achievements:

  • Complete capture of the market for equipment needs of the major utilities in Trinidad and Tobago.

  • Introduction and expansion of training for users of equipment not only in Trinidad and Tobago but in other islands of the Caribbean.

  • Establishment of contact for the expansion of our services to several islands.

  • Advising fleet managers on mobilization, consolidation, expansion, discards and management of fleets.

  • Economics of substitution discontinuance and abandonment of equipment.

2005 - High Tower Hydraulics becomes the sole distributor for the Terex Crane line in the English speaking Caribbean Islands.

From a geographical standpoint, we have the ability to respond effectively to clients needs in the entire Caribbean region. As a consequence, our company has to date sold and service equipment eight (8) Caribbean Islands.

High Tower Hydraulics Limited was built on service and our track record shows our commitment to ‘After Sales Service’. We service what we sell and even what we don’t sell! We stock adequate levels of parts to satisfy customers needs.

High Tower maintains a staff of factory trained technicians who attend courses held at our vendors’ facilities in the United States in order to keep abreast with the current technologies relating to the equipment and services we provide.

We currently maintain annual preventative maintenance service contracts for the electrical and telephone companies of Trinidad and Tobago.
High Tower Hydraulics sister company Fluid Power Training Institute conducts hydraulic, operator and maintenance training.
